Shopping on the Big Island

The resorts offer extensive resort-wear boutiques and art gallery options.  In addition, Kailua-Kona offers food shopping alternatives (Costco, Safeway, KTA, etc.) as well as local shops that offer lauhala, traditional wood calabashes, and coffee plantations selling their own specialty and "estate" blends.

Kings' Shops at Waikoloa Beach Resort

Duty-free shops, Macy's (with local wear), restaurants, Activities' Desks, art galleries presenting some of Hawaii's foremost artists, and souvenir shops.

The Shops at Mauna Lani

This upscale shopping open air plaza offers fine dining (Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Tommy Bahama's Tropical Cafe, and Dara's Authentic Thai Cuisine), resort clothing boutiques, Lahaina Gallery and other specialty stores.

Starbucks, for your caffeine fix, is located near a soon-to-be-opened Gourmet Grocery store.

Queens' Marketplace at the Waikoloa Beach Resort
New shops and dining opportunities abound in this new outdoor shopping area in the Waikoloa Beach Resort.  Jewelers, art galleries, and clothiers -- all centrally located.  The food court is a newer version of that at the Kings' Shops with wonderful (and affordable) Thai food available at Charlie's Thai Cuisine.
